 The Mountain House Mothers Club promotes the well being of parents and children through support, friendship, and education and the sharing of resources, ideas, talents, and experiences.
Current Activities
Tuesdays at the Park is from from 10:00 to 12:00 and Wednesdays at the Park is from 2:00 to 4:00, both playdates rotate between Vecinidad Park (located at Vecinidad and Fauna Streets in Bethany), Questa Park (located at Questa Trail and Montabello Streets in Questa), and Wicklund Park (located at Tradition and Heritage Streets in Wicklund). Please note, these playdates are weather permitting. In addition to the park, here's a quick glimpse at what we have planned for the coming months!

Club 1-2-3: Magic School Bus, Lost in the Solar System
In December, the kids will be venturing into space for both Book Club and Science Club. We begin our trek into the universe with a great book, the Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System. In this installment, the fieldtrip to the planetarium is foiled when the museum turns out to be closed, but Ms. Frizzle saves the day. The Magic School Bus turns into a spaceship and takes the class on a trip zooming through the atmosphere, to the Moon, and beyond! For their art project, the kids will model a piece of the solar system and then we'll do a fun activity to get an idea of the scale of the solar system.

Valentine's Day Craft
Please join us for a Valentine's Day craft and story time. The kids will be decorating heart-shaped mobiles with glitter glue, gems, and colors. We'll also be sharing some of our favorite picture books. If you'd like, bring a book or two that you'd like to read to the kids. Also, please bring a snack to share.

MNO: Movie Night
When is the last time you were in a theatre without your kids? If the last movie you saw was Cars 2 or Puss in Boots, this night is for you! Join us in a dark theatre with some crunchy popcorn and a cool drink for an entertaining film that won't result in a theme ride at Disneyland!
